  • Served 3 years as University of Illinois Hillel student president.
  • Was an active member of his college fraternity Sigma Alpha Mu serving as Brotherhood Chair, Philanthropy Chair, and Pledge Class President.
  • Received a Bar Tending license in New York in 2003.


  • For his website Rabbi Fine has received media credentials at the 2019 NCAA Tournament, 2020 Super Bowl, and several other professional sporting events.
  • Has visited over 25+ Major League Baseball stadiums and collects the mini-bats from each one.
  • Was a two-time All State Honorable Mention in basketball averaging 22 points his Senior year and finishing with over 1,600 points in High School.
  • Played Maccabi basketball for Chicago two straight years (Seattle and Detroit).
  • Coached High School basketball at Uni High School in Champaign IL.
  • Coaches TBall and Basketball for his daughters at the local Park District.


  • Performed Live Interviews of stars Mel Brooks, Aaron Sorkin and Rob Reiner, Rachel Brosnahan and Kevin Pollak, Mayim Bialik, Josh Radnor, Judy Gold and Linda Larkin (Jasmine from Aladdin).

  • Acted in several plays in college, with director Steve Rubenshtein, a writer from HBO’s Girls and ABC’s Super Fun Night.
  • His first cousin Marty Belafsky was Crutchy from the original film Newsies.
  • Wrote a full length screenplay entitled “Bottom of the 8th.”
  • He can blow up various balloon animals.
